Hanna Perälä is a conceptual artist and painter who graduated with a Master of Arts in 2021. Based in Finland, her multifaceted practice transcends conventional boundaries, shifting seamlessly between visual art, sound, text, and research. This interdisciplinary approach allows her to explore themes from multiple angles, offering rich, layered experiences to her audience.
Perälä is particularly known for her way of portraying flowers as large, abstract forms that not only fill but dominate space – powerful entities that are both familiar and enigmatic.
She has showcased her art in solo and collective exhibitions, and her work is part of the public collection of the Lappeenranta Art Museum.
